Hi, I'm Jim Lloyd, Founder of Bartender In A Box.  I first thought of a cocktail in a bag in box package where you could add your own liquor in early 1999.  My how time flies.  I have to admit, I thought it was one of the dumbest ideas I ever had. 

But my friends talked me into doing it and a relative suggested I file for a patent, for which I got three on the original "Fun Pack" idea--where we added a bottle of liquor.  I lugged the prototype around for 5 years before a major chain and liquor company jumped in.  Good news, the sales were great, but the major liquor company was sold and I had to start again.  Thus, Bartender In A Box was born!

Bartender In A Box was made for people just like us.  It's about making the most of the precious time we have with one another - helping us share a few laughs with family and friends and not have to compromise quality due to inconvenience.   

Now with a committed team of super cool professionals and bartenders 20 years later, I realized my "dumb" idea was more of "why didn't I think of that" idea.   After all, with over 500,000 cocktails served, we must have done something right!
